OMZOE

Self-concept affirmations

Start with a line you can say without flinching.

Begin with what your life is for, in your own words. The lines are written for that aim, and you score each one for how true it feels right now. A line under 7 stays out of the audio built around it.

The usual advice

Repeat it until it sticks is the advice that leaves you where you are.

Most self-concept advice comes down to one instruction: pick the line you want to be true, and say it until it is. Three things work against that.

  • Written for nobody in particular

A line taken from a list or a feed was written for everyone who might read it. It has no aim in it, no cue to act on, and nothing about the day you are actually in.

  • A line you don’t believe can cost you

One study (Wood, Perunovic and Lee, 2009) observed that people with low self-esteem felt worse after repeating a positive statement about themselves. Each repetition can be one more moment of noticing you do not believe it.

  • Audio repeats it several hundred times

In text, a line you do not believe costs one reading. In audio it repeats several hundred times, which is the wrong place to find out.

How Omzoe builds it

Aim first, then the lines, then your score

Omzoe does not start from a list of affirmations. It starts from what you wrote, works out a first aim with you, and only then writes the lines.

  1. Start with what your life is for

The Ikigai Exercise asks what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for, in your own words. The Omzoe Mirror adds 72 statements, about nine minutes, on how you tend to operate. It is a self-reflection instrument, not a validated psychometric, and it assigns no type. With an account, the two become a Compass Reading and a first 32-day aim.

  2. Ten lines, written for that aim

Your aim becomes an Aim Spec: the aim in one sentence, the beliefs in its way, the cue you will act on. You review and edit it before anything is written. The ten affirmations are written from it and checked against the format’s rules before you see them.

  3. You score each one

How true does this feel right now? From Not yet to Already true, 0 to 10. A line you score under 7 stays out of the audio built around it, and a line that does not hold yet can be swapped for a smaller version. This is how the paid practice is built.

Try the scale

How true does this feel right now?

This is the question Omzoe asks of each line, and the answer it wants is the quick one, not the one you wish were true. Here are three versions of one claim, from the largest to the smallest. Score each and see which would stay in the audio.

In Omzoe the lines are not samples. They are written for your aim, so it starts with the Ikigai Exercise.

Score each line from 0 to 10 for how true it feels to you right now.

  1. Largest · rung 1

I’m a keeper of my word to myself, and before noon I do what I said.

    Not scored yet

  2. Smaller · rung 3

Part of me is a keeper of my word to myself, and before noon it leads.

    Not scored yet

  3. Smallest · rung 5

I’m learning to keep my word to myself, and before noon I practise it.

A score of 7 or higher keeps a line in the audio

Questions a practitioner asks first

Is this manifestation?
If you practise manifestation, the formats will be familiar: affirmations, a subliminal track, a sleep story for the evening. Omzoe promises no outcome. The specific formulas, how a set of lines is calibrated and what a 32-day cycle contains, are Omzoe’s own designs, not tested protocols.
How does the subliminal track work?
It is disclosed for what it is. The voice is intelligible if you choose to listen for it. The effect, such as it is, comes from where your attention rests over many repetitions, not from burying a message below hearing. Its statements are lines you scored 7 or higher, and the track in your pack carries no beat layer.
I write my own affirmations. Why would I use this?
Keep writing them. Omzoe adds what is hard to do alone: a starting point set from how you answered the Mirror, a score from you on each line of your subliminal track, with any line under 7 kept out of it, and a sleep story built so it does not bring you back up, for the evening only and never for driving. Those are part of the paid practice. The Compass that sets your aim is free.
Does an AI write the lines?
Yes, from the Aim Spec you review and edit first. Each line is checked against the format’s rules before you see it, and then you score it. A line goes into the audio only with your score of 7 or higher, and you can ask for a smaller version of any line.
What happens to what I write?
What you write and answer is never sold or shared, and Omzoe never trains a model on it. On the free plan, the AI providers that write your Reading may use what is sent to them to improve their models; the paid plan uses only provider plans that never do. Before you sign up it is tied only to this browser, and deleted seven days after you start if you never create an account.
Is it free?
The Compass stays free. What you pay for is the practice built for your first aim. You need no account to begin the Ikigai Exercise or the Mirror. Your Calling Statements, Compass Reading and Aim Path need one, and we ask only when there is something to keep.

Rather read first?

The Reading Room is free to read. Start with why an exaggerated line tends to provoke its own argument, and with what the word self-concept means.

Begin with what your life is for. The lines come after.

The lines in Omzoe are written for your aim, and a line you score under 7 stays out of the audio built around it. The aim starts with the Ikigai Exercise: free, and no account to begin.
