Self-concept is the organised set of beliefs and descriptions a person holds about who they are. It includes roles, capabilities, values, and the patterns a person expects from themselves. In assumption culture, self-concept is often described as the first thing to revise before pursuing an external desire.
It is not a permanent essence, nor is it a switch that changes the world once a new sentence is repeated. A self-description can guide what a person notices and chooses, but it changes alongside experience, relationships, feedback, and circumstance.
Omzoe works with self-concept through believable, user-reviewed language. The goal is to give a person room to practise a wider response, not to ask them to make an unsupported claim about who they have become.
