Revision is Neville Goddard's practice of returning to an unwanted event in imagination and giving it a different ending, often before sleep. It is distinct from ordinary journaling because the exercise changes the scene in the mind rather than recording what happened.
It is not a way to alter the past, remove accountability, or force another person into a revised role. Replaying an injury can also become rumination when it keeps a grievance active without offering a new response. The historical event remains what it was.
Omzoe can use a revised scene as a reflective prompt: what response would you rather remember having available next time? That keeps the exercise in the realm of rehearsal and future choice, rather than presenting imagination as a correction to history.
