Scripting

Writing a desired future in present-tense language, often to clarify desire and rehearse the actions a direction might involve.

  • Beliefs
  • Purpose

Scripting is the practice of writing about a desired future as though it is already taking place. It is common in manifestation culture, where the present tense is often used to make an imagined scene feel detailed and immediate.

It is not a grammatical lever that causes events, and it should not require someone to deny a difficult present. A script can be read more usefully as a rehearsal of preference: it may show what a person wants, what they fear, and which parts of an imagined future are within their own choices.

Omzoe may draw on future-oriented writing only as a reflective exercise. The result is material for an aim or a conversation, not a causal promise and not a substitute for practical action.
